Product Build and Inventory Management

Overview

The Product and Inventory module is where all part, component and material information for the ITMS system is stored. It supports a full inventory management capability for both parts and material. Parts can be either stocked or non-stocked and built into a single or multi-level Bill of Material (BOM).

Material information is also entered and recorded in this module. Materials are items such as sheet metal or other non-parts which are required for the manufacturing or build process. Frequently they are purchased in units different to those consumed and there may be multiple suppliers.

Both Parts and Materials detail can be supported by full costing, account codes, documents and drawing information when required.

  • Create, View and Export Single or Multi -Level Bills of Material(B.O.M) using combinations of Stocked and Non-Stocked items
  • Critical Path methodology used to generate scheduling leadtimes .
  • Multiple pricing  and price break recording available.
  • Sell price calculation using options of  Standard, current and last purchase material costs.
  • Industry Standard inventory management methods and options utilized.
  • Attach drawings and documents to the the part record for quick viewing or printing with job documents.

  • Multiple suppliers , alternate supplier codes and pricing for each material item.
  • Integrate currency , freight and duty into material purchase prices.
  • Industry Standard inventory management methods and options utilized.
  • Full inventory history of picking, issuing, purchasing and stock adjustments.
  • GL accounts can be assigned to individual materials
  • Unlimited length descriptions and alerts for purchasing, quoting and sales orders.
