Order and Job Management

Overview

The Order and Job Management module provides the facility to create client and production orders directly from sales or stock information.

The ITMS application generates both Client Orders and Production Orders. The first deals with direct sales and and stock allocation. The second addresses orders for directly manufactured parts or part manufactured for stock.

This is a sophisticated module which addresses all the requirements for manufacturing or production Job Cards or Work Orders. Items such as job costing, work centers, labour allocation, labour costing, machine allocation and drawing attachments are all included.

  • Two Order types are available in the ITMS system

a) Client Orders for direct sales and or allocation of stock items.

b) Production Orders to manufacture parts to order or for stock.

  • Convert Production Orders to jobs and allocate labour at the workcenter level plus materials using "Picking' methodology , "Free Issue " or "Purchase direct" to the job.
  • Print detailed Job Cards , drawing attachments and labels using part BOM's and customer order information.
  • Job costings are updated "live" as labour hours are clocked and purchases entered. Overtime loadings , workcenter charge and cost rates allow for running Profit margin reporting.
  • Manage all your orders from one entry point, allowing sales to provide up to date delivery dates as well as checking availability of stock on hand, allocated and available. Full drill down functionality provides fast searching and accurate decision making.
